Blueskin Bay

Blueskin Bay is a rural community 20km North of Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand.

A diverse community comprising the coastal towns of Seacliff, Warrington, Evansdale, Waitati, Doctors Point and historically, Purakaunui, Blueskin Bay is home to many skilled and talented folk.

As a relatively small community, Blueskin Bay has an eclectic range of businesses, trades and services to support the local community.

Close to 70 businesses, trades & services operate to support the wider Blueskin Community including long established commercial enterprises, skilled tradespeople - residential & commercial builders, engineers, electricians & plumbers; firewood sellers...and importantly, a chimney sweep.

Blueskin Bay is becoming a popular destination for its cafes, boutique grocer & home decor resellers, cosy wine bar, craft beer brewery & regular live entertainment.

Blueskin Bay is famed for its rich history, it's crafters & artisan lifestyles and creative businesses and is home to many great traditional artists as well as graphic designers, web designers & photographers.

As a rural community Blueskin Bay has a highly skilled community of primary sector agricultural, civil & construction contracting businesses to service the local community - with a significant combined investment in modern heavy industrial machinery & equipment to undertake any job.

We are also fortunate to have many environmentally conscious businesses & organisations who champion the local environment to promote a climate focussed, energy efficient and sustainable community for all.

While we traverse through this difficult time in our history, both locally and nationally, all businesses and trade & services providers require the support of the local community to be sustained.
